OMSCo - The Organic Milk Cooperative

OMSCo (The Organic Milk Cooperative) is a cooperative of around 400 organic dairy farmers based in England, Scotland and Wales. Organic farmers use traditional methods to produce delicious organic milk that is good for you, the cows and the countryside. OMSCo is the largest and longest established supplier of organic milk in the UK.

Our farmers are not allowed to use GM cattle feed, routine antibiotic treatments or artificial chemical pesticides. There are strict regulations on the way organic land is managed, which allow wildlife to thrive and the soil to retain its goodness without the use of artificial nitrate fertilisers. Instead, our farmers plant clover, spread organic manure and rotate their fields to maintain soil fertility naturally.

Organic dairy cows spend as much time as possible grazing outdoors, are not pushed to produce unnatural volumes of milk. Comfortable contented cows are the aim of every organic dairy farmer.

If you care about animal welfare, the British countryside and the wildlife that lives there, organic milk is the natural choice.
