The Boathouse
The Boathouse, Penuwch, St. Clears, Carmarthenshire
The Boathouse benefits from an idyllic position by a pond. It was totally renovated in 2002 to a high standard (awarded 4 stars by the Welsh Tourist Board) and has two bedrooms, one double and one loft bedroom. The twin-bedded loft room has a pitched ceiling with low beams and is accessed by a steep staircase. In front of the cottage is a large pond bordered by fields and garden. There is outdoor seating and a barbecue. Penuwch is a family run organic dairy farm of 140 acres. It is located in a pretty valley approximately 2 miles from St Clears, in a very secluded position on a long farm drive. Facilities available to our guests include a large indoor swimming pool. We also have a 5 acre lake and 3/4 mile of river frontage where you can enjoy peace and quiet amongst the abundance of wildlife.
