Organic Porridge Plus

Serves: 2

Ingredients

Suitable for vegetarians
75g porridge oats
500ml whole milk
Pinch of sea salt
For adults only - small tot of Scotch whisky
Dark brown sugar to serve

Method

Ideally, let the oats soak in the milk until soft - ten minutes or so, or overnight.
Add salt and bring gently to the boil.
Simmer for a couple of minutes.
For the grown ups, on a chilly winter weekend, add a tot of Scotch.
Serve in a bowl with a little extra milk and a spoonful of dark brown sugar.
Very yummy breakfast dish - and fills up the kids!
