Organic Vanilla Coffee Frappe

Organic Vanilla Coffee FrappeIngredients

Suitable for vegetarians
50g sugar
150ml water
1 vanilla pod
150ml strong black coffee
600ml milk
ice cubes

Method

Put the sugar and water in a small pan and stir over a gentle heat until the sugar has dissolved. Add the vanilla pod and bring to the boil. Simmer for 3 minutes, then remove from heat and leave to cool.

Pour the coffee and milk into a food processor with a couple of handfuls of ice cubes. Remove the vanilla pod from the syrup and add the syrup to the food processor. Whizz for a minute or so, until frothy. Pour into chilled glasses and serve immediately.
